"Should School Start Later" persuasive paper prewriting continues in class; paper is due Friday morning by 8:30 A.M. on turnitin.com web site; use say-mean-matter textual evidence matrix and transition words provided in class
Vocabulary Workshop books are required in class all week; Unit One practice test is reviewed

Write a well-organized persuasive paper that states a position about whether or not school should start later for students.  Defend your position with multiple examples of precise and relevant evidence from two written sources you have read.  Be sure to address counterclaims to your position and cite evidence correctly.
